This thesis explores the methodology of designing public spaces based on crowd behavior and especially the traces left by them, in order to merge the gap between the designer, the crowd and the place. 

In the daytime, when leaning on the fence, people press the fence as playing piano and the pressure is recorded according to time, as a piano score. The music composed will show at night by a lighting system, as a speeding up version of crowd behaviors happened in the daytime.

Flexible sitting system. This is a study on how to turn the traces, which the crowd left in open spaces, into a design form without the participation of designers. This is an evolving landform changing constantly.
